The Reciprocity Project Film Screening - Health in Focus Film Festival
Facing a climate crisis, the Reciprocity Project embraces Indigenous value systems that have bolstered communities since the dawn of humanity. To heal, we must recognize that we are in relationship with Earth, a place that was in balance until the modern industrial age. This short film series and multimedia platform invites learning from time-honored and current Indigenous ways of being. In Season One of the Reciprocity Project, storytellers and community partners created films in response to a question: what does ‘reciprocity’ mean to your community? Adam Mazo, Creative Director of the Upstander Project and Chris Newell, Director of Education for the Akomawt Educational Initiative will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening. These events are free for current Boston University students, faculty, and staff. Please use code “BUCOMMUNITY22” and your BU email when registering.
