The Skin You’re In - Virtual Screening & Discussion

All BU students, faculty, and staff are invited to the virtual screening of The Skin You’re In documentary on Wednesday, April 28, from 6:30-7:45pm EDT. This webinar will include a discussion with Thomas LaVeist, Executive Producer and Dean of Tulane University’s School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. Black Americans live sicker and die younger than any other ethnic group in the nation. Why is this happening? The reasons are complex and rooted in racism. The Skin You’re In docufilm series investigates this disturbing phenomenon from its various angles. We identify the problem, explain the causes and offer real solutions.
