College Democrats Spring Panel: "How We Define Activism"

Hello BU Community! Next Thursday, April 15th at 7 PM EST Boston University College Democrats will be hosting our Spring Panel: "How We Define Activism." The purpose of this panel is to discuss the problems with how Americans view protest, how protest contributes to a healthy democracy, and how we all can become better activists in our daily lives. BUCD will be joined by four fantastic panelists from around the Boston area: Rachel Meade (Lecturer of Political Science at Boston University) Monica Cannon-Grant (Activist and Founder & CEO of Violence in Boston) Karen Pita Loor (Associate Clinical Professor of Law & Associate Dean for Experiential Education) Prisha Sujin Kumar (Co-Founder of Campus Survivors at Boston University) This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
