Minority Mental Wellness Week
The effects of continued isolation have permeated throughout school, work, and our personal lives. With continued isolation and decreased opportunities to personally meet and interact with various communities on campus, it has become increasingly difficult to foster meaningful connections without the fatigue of yet another silent, Zoom meeting. Through a series of demonstrations and activities in partnership with the Howard Thurman Center, Sargent Choice Nutrition and undergraduate student groups, MCI hopes to foster open dialogue on minority student experiences, discuss the unique stressors and factors that influence minority communities, and introduce methods and activities to improve and maintain overall physical and mental wellbeing.
