CURA Colloquium "Catholic Experiences During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Grounded Theory Study
With Tyler Fuller, PhD Candidate, Graduate Program in Religion The COVID-19 pandemic has led to new ways that religious communities engage in ritual practice. I interviewed Catholics in Boston about their experiences watching mass, and in particular the Eucharist, online. This paper focuses on how the move to virtual mass during the liturgical season of Lent informed how Catholics interpreted their experiences. Email longman@bu.edu for a copy of this paper.
