Angie Cruz Book Reading & Lecture
Angie Cruz is a Dominican-American writer who spent her childhood between the Dominican Republic and New York City, where she was born. Her novel, Dominicana, was inspired by her mother's arrival story.
Cruz originally pursued a fashion design degree at F.I.T. and later pursued an English literature degree at SUNY Binghamton and then attended the MFA program at NYU. She is currently an Associate Professor at University of Pittsburgh.
