IS&T RCS Tutorial - Introduction to ArcGIS Online, Part One
This tutorial is Part One of a two part series. ArcGIS Online is a cloud platform, developed by ESRI, that provides a collection of tools and services that allow one to create interactive web maps that can be published and shared with the world. Explore some examples in the ESRI lesson gallery.Part One will cover the following topics: ArcGIS Online - What Is it? GIS Theory and ArcGIS Online Example Workflow Permissions Geo Apps Resources Explore ArcGIS Online (Hands-on)See Part Two for session description.No software installation is required; just an internet connection and an internet browser. For those who register for this tutorial, a BU ArcGIS Online account will be created prior to the tutorial for free.
