Alternative Service Breaks 2021 - Weekend 1
Alternative Service Breaks (ASB) is a weeklong service and educational opportunity hosted by the Community Service Center that empowers Boston University students across the globe to unite in social justice education, learning service, self-reflection, and empathy. Through virtual and in-person experiences with our community partners, ASB strives to build a community among students that emphasizes intersectionality between social justice focus areas and service. This year, ASB will take place over three weekends: February 13-14, March 13-14, and April 17-18. Volunteers will be able to explore this concept through one of 5 focus areas: Public Health, Human Rights, Sustainability, Education, Youth and Family Advocacy, and Food and Housing Justice. Those interested in participating can register via the Eventbrite link below.
