Book Talk with Louis Chude-Sokei and Dylon Lamar Robbins
Join us for a Book Talk with Louis Chude-Sokei, Professor of English, George and Joyce Wein Chair in African American Studies, and Director of the African American Studies Program at Boston University, and Dylon Lamar Robbins, Associate Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at NYU. Chude-Sokei will present The Sound of Culture: Diaspora and Black Technopoetics. Robbins will present Audible Geographies in Latin America: Sounds of Race and Place. Michael Birenbaum Quintero, Associate Professor of Music and Chair, Musicology & Ethnomusicology at Boston University, and Adela Pineda, Professor of Spanish & Director of the Center for Latin American Studies at Boston University, will respond.
