Italian Women Who Made a Change: the Veneto Case in a Global Perspective
Women’ struggle for inclusion then and now has never been simple. By discussing some exceptional and yet little-known women from the Veneto region who determined major changes in Italian society, we will be able to better understand the perception and role of women in an Italian and global context. The talk will comprise case studies from the Renaissance to modernity.
