Arctic Environmental Humanities Workshop Series: Bathsheba Demuth

Join the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future and the Scott Polar Research Institute on Tuesday, October 13 at 1:00 pm ET for the third talk in the Arctic Environmental Humanities Workshop Series, featuring Bathsheba Demuth, Assistant Professor of Environment and Society & History at Brown University. Prof. Demuth's talk, titled "Arctic Energy Before Petroleum: Or, What Whales Can Tell Us About Writing History," will draw on her multiple-prize winning first book, "Floating Coast: An Environmental History of the Bering Strait."
