The Emperor’s New Road: China and the Project of the Century
Join us for a virtual book talk by Jonathan Hillman, Senior Fellow and Director of the Reconnecting Asia program at CSIS. Hillman’s new book, The Emperor’s New Road: China and the Project of the Century, has just been published by Yale University Press. Philippe Le Corre, Research Associate with the Ash Center and the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, and Min Ye, Associate Professor of International Relations at BU's Pardee School of Global Studies, will respond. The event will be moderated by Grant Rhode, also of BU’s Pardee School of Global Studies. This event takes place as part of the Pardee School of Global Studies’ program ASSESSING CHINA’S BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVE. Sponsors include the Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies and its African Studies Center, Center for the Study of Asia, Center for the Study of Europe, Center for Latin American Studies, the Global Development Policy Center, Institute on Culture, Religion & World Affairs, and the Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future.
