POC Healing & Wellness Workshop
Join the Queer Activist Collective and Umoja: BU's Black Student Union for a POC Healing & Wellness Workshop led by IMPACT Boston! This workshop will be an opportunity to connect with others about stress and self-care related to social safety issues for POC, discuss the various ways adrenaline can affect the body and behavior, and learn grounding techniques to help support yourself in stressful situations. To register for FREE, please email BU's Queer Activist Collective at bostonuq@gmail.com with your name, pronouns, and if you are comfortable, 1-2 sentences about why you would like to join. Open to the public. *This session is intended for people of color to collectively ground themselves in a safe space. LGBTQ-POC welcome and encouraged to attend! This session will be led by Adriana Li (she/they), IMPACT Boston's Program Coordinator and Coach Instructor.
