History of the Pride March: A Mini Lesson with History UnErased
This year is the 50th anniversary of the first gay rights march, held in NYC on June 28, 1970 to celebrate the first anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. To recognize and honor this historic event, Deb Fowler from History UnErased will lead an interactive mini-lesson on the origin and the evolution of the Pride march! This event is free and open to the public. For more BU Virtual Pride events happening this month, please visit: tinyurl.com/BUVirtualPride
