Islamic Finance and Doing Business in the Muslim World

The Islamic finance market is growing rapidly and the Islamic countries and the Middle East in particular, have recently become a dynamic hub for investment. In this panel, four scholars and practitioners will discuss Islamic finance and doing business in the Muslim World. Topics discussed include the theory of Islamic finance along with the primary vehicles used in the industry, the regulatory aspects of Islamic financial institutions and the challenges faced by Shari’ah scholars, boards and standards-setting bodies, Islamic finance in the US and the aspects of doing business in the Middle East as an emerging market and the influence of Islam on investment and business markets.
