The Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program at McLean Hospital is directed by Dr. Brent Forester and addresses cutting edge research questions in the areas of dementia and mood disorders using new neuroimaging techniques, clinicopathological correlations, and other study methods. We are currently looking for 2-3 new research assistants to join our team starting in May or June of 2020. Current studies include a number of Industry-led Alzheimer’s Disease clinical drug trials, treatments for behavioral symptoms of dementia, longitudinal analyses of older adults with depression and bipolar disorder, novel treatment options for geriatric mood disorders, and an study assessing cognitive changes and inflammatory biomarkers associated with geriatric treatment resistant depression.
