ChoreoLab: InFlight: An informal presentation of aerial dance

Boston University’s Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is pleased to present ChoreoLab: InFlight 2019, our inaugural all-aerial dance informal showing of works created by instructors and students of the Boston University Dance Program. There will be one performance on December 12th, 2019, 7:00-8:30pm that is free of admission. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers and will take place in Boston University’s Dance Theatre. This concert is made possible with assistance from CFA School of Theatre stage crafters and designers. ChoreoLab: InFlight 2019 will include student and faculty choreography from noncredit classes taught by Marin Orlosky Randow (Aerial Silks Repertory and Aerial Apparatus Choreography) and Lynda Rieman (Aerial Apparatus Choreography). Music selections will vary across genres and artists. Lighting is by College of Fine Arts, School of Theatre Lighting Design student Anna Brevetti. The Boston University Dance Theater, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue, is a 223-seat state-of-the-art studio/theatre space designed specifically for dance performances, classes, and special events. ChoreoLab: InFlight is presented by the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (Timothy Moore, Executive Director, and Micki Taylor-Pinney, Director of Dance).
