Mosaic Series: Women’s History Month Concert
The Interdisciplinary Committee of the CFA School of Music is creating a monthly performance series, to be titled the Mosaic Series, which will mix faculty and students from throughout the College of Fine Arts. These events will be open to the public and will be based on timely social themes. We will be collaborating with the schools of Visual Arts and Theater in order to provide a multi-sensory approach and a more encompassing and visceral experience for the listener. Featuring works by Ketty Nez, Lori Laitman, Grażyna Bacewicz, and Maria Irene Fornés. Artists include Professor Hyun-ji Kwon, cello; Professor Ketty Nez, piano; Jenna Girodana, actor; Amy Stapenhorst, actor; Julianne Wolfe, soprano; Haley Russell, clarinet; Regan Siglin, piano; Sarah Elert, violin; Bennett Astrove, violin; Kavita Shankar, violin; Jessica Tovey, violin.
