Zero Waste Campus Forum
Want to help reduce BU’s environmental impact? We want to hear from YOU! The University’s Climate Action Plan includes a goal to achieve zero waste by 2030. In response, sustainability@BU recently assembled a Zero Waste Implementation Task Force including staff, faculty, and students. Over the next five months, they are tasked to recommend clear actions the University can take to meet this goal. In order to for the plan to incorporate insight from our community, we are hosting two Zero Waste Campus Forums. I write to encourage you to join us and share your ideas. This is a chance to help Boston University be a leader in shifting the culture of consumption, redesigning our resource lifecycles, and modeling the behavior we seek for Boston and beyond.
