Sociology Book Reading Celebration
Sociology faculty members will read from their latest books. Faculty authors include Professors Japonica Brown-Saracino (How Places Make Us: Novel LBQ Identities in Four Small Cities, University of Chicago Press); Deborah Carr (Golden Years? Social Inequality in Later Life, Russell Sage), Max Greenberg (Twelve Weeks to Change a Life: At-Risk Youth in a Fractured State, University of California Press), and Liah Greenfeld (Nationalism: A Short History, Brookings Institution Press). Readings will be followed by a lunch reception.
