Cinematheque: AN EVENING WITH ANNA WEXLER AND NADJA OERTELT
Two MIT graduate students made Unorthodox, an acclaimed feature documentary following three Orthodox Jewish students after American high school. They travel to Israel to study, and learn about their religion, but also to party wildly, far from parents. Ultimately, will these adolescents abandon their strict faith, or become more religious and pious? Co-presented by the Boston Jewish Film Festival.
