MLK Day 2013: Lyrics

Boston University's annual MLK Day Commemoration includes a provocative look at the lyrics and language surrounding civil rights and social justice. We will examine the power of the written, spoken, and unheard word. Speakers include faculty, staff and students from around the University, as well as dramatic performances and music by Herbert Jones. The event will begin approximately around 1pm, or whenever the Presidential Inauguration ends. We will be showing the inauguration live in Metcalf Hall beginning at 12 noon. The event will also be broadcast online for those who can't physically make it to the event. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/boston-university If you have any questions or need accommodations, please call the Dean of Students office at 617-353-4126 or the Howard Thurman Center at 617-353-4745.
