Why don't young people vote, and why should young people vote? BU Today asked two students who are [...]voting advocates for the top five excuses given for why young people don’t vote. One reason why young people don't vote: their vote won’t affect the outcome of the race. In this video, vocal get-out-the-vote advocate Jonathan Allen (LAW’19), who ran for Boston City Council last year, counters those and other reasons for young voters not casting their ballots. “Now more than ever,” he says, “we must vote.”
