Back in March, the COVID-19 pandemic forced all non-essential Boston University operations to go [...]remote. University administrators understood that in order to bring people back to campus lab in the fall, BU would have to create its own COVID-19 testing and tracing plan. The goal? To test up to six-thousand members of the BU community every single day, with results available in less than 24 hours. With critical university functions like lab research and residential learning at stake, a group of BU faculty, staff, and students raced against the clock to assemble a world-class COVID-19 testing facility from scratch, right in the Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences and Engineering. In the video above, meet the team who built Boston University's Clinical Testing Lab.
