With the help of Rhonda R. McClure, Director of Research Services at New England Historic [...]Genealogical Society, Raul Fernandez tries to make sense of conflicting census records, a key to finding his real relatives. Fernandez also looks for reasons why his ancestor, Antonio Fernandez, left Mexico for Puerto Rico.
Fernandez’s research is part of the Family History Project, an educational partnership of the Howard Thurman Center and New England Historic Genealogical Society.
