"Four Gates & a Gate Keeper"-Dr. Adnan Onart

SMSC resumed its lecture series with a talk hosted by Dr. Adnan Onart titled "Four Gates & a Gate [...]Keeper: Reflections on Anatolian Sufism Through the Poetry of Yunus Emre." It reviewed those poems and sought to establish whether his pervasive poetic rhetoric, its ethos, logos and pathos, can serve as a scaffold for access to the reconstruction of Islam in the 21st century America.
