Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, CRNAs, OR Nurses, Practice Managers, Risk Managers, Residents

EDUCATIONAL METHODS:

Lectures utilizing leading edge technology, including the audience response system, will be provided with moderated panel discussions.

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
-Describe strategies to minimize risk in the OR
-Describe future challenges facing community hospitals and academic medical centers in reference to perioperative services
-Describe current challenges facing OR leaders with potential solutions and mechanisms for oversight
