Embryos in air also move around inside their egg capsules, but less often -- except, if they put their gills near the back, where there isn't enough oxygen, they don't stay there long.]]></description>

The eggs are 5 days old, in the middle of their period of hatching competence but still premature. Undisturbed eggs typically hatch at 6 or 7 days. The first attack was 5 min ago, 5 embryos have already hatched & 2 have been carried away when this clip starts. It is in real time.]]></description>
