<description><![CDATA[Roberta Clarke, Associate Professor of Marketing at Boston University School of Management, and teacher in the Health Sector Management Program, addresses past and current challenges around transparency in the health sector and pharmaceutical industries. 

One problem is actually an overload of ultra-complex data disseminated in a format thats difficult to navigate for the lay public, Clarke explains.  She then discusses both the challenges and importance of helping the public become better medical consumers.  In this effort,  researchers and industry have a major role to play, Clarke argues, by presenting data in a clear, targeted, and useful way.]]></description>
