<description><![CDATA[The Boston University School of Social Work and Boston Medical Center are collaborating on a project, funded by a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense, to address the needs of military service members who have deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan and who return to their very young children. Two BU researchers talk about establishing a relationship with the military community, about the impact of deployment on spouses and children, and about the intervention program they plan to develop.
