On April 18, 2013 the Boston University Institute for Iraqi Studies presented its annual conference, titled â€œIraq: Looking Forward.â€ Conference participants focused on the future of Iraq ten years following the U.S. invasion. The event featured presentations on regional security issues, questions of state-society, and lessons learned. The conference was sponsored in cooperation with the GR:EEN project of the European Commission.
