Willing Suspension is a student theater company that specializes in producing seldom-seen English drama from the 15th and 16th centuries. Established and run by graduate students in the BU English department, the troupe has spent over 15 years giving full theatrical performances to the often neglected masterpieces of Shakespeareâ€™s contemporaries, offering audiences a unique opportunity to see live productions of plays by authors such as Christopher Marlowe, Ben Jonson, and Thomas Middleton.
