Getting a taste of the upcoming production of Shelagh Delaney's A TASTE OF HONEY.

Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP), the professional extension of the BU CFA School of Theatre, presents the story of a working-class, adolescent girl and her relationships with the black sailor who makes her pregnant; the homosexual art student who moves into her apartment to help her through her pregnancy; her fun-loving, saloon-frequenting mother; and Peter, her mother’s newly acquired husband. One of the great taboo-breaking plays of the 1950s, written when the author was just 18 years old.
