Cristin Marona (’10) returns to BUSPH each May to help teach GH 744: Program Design for Global Health, a class in which students learn by acting as project consultants for organizations all over the world.

The students not only receive feedback from their clients, Marona says. Many of these proposed programs are picked up and become funded realities.

“We’ve had everything from commercial sex worker programs in Swaziland to building apps for the government of India,” she says.

Marona is now based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, serving as senior development advisor at Palladium, a global management consulting group working to promote economic growth, health, education, and the environment in over 90 countries.

Made up of three 18-story towers and located across the street from CAS, Warren has coed floors, tons of common rooms, and some of the best cookies anywhere on campus.

If you like sports and love burgers, West Campus is where you want to live. Three towers—Claflin Hall, Sleeper Hall, and Rich Hall—offer amazing views of Nickerson Field and are just a couple of minutes’ walk to FitRec and Agganis Arena. But it’s the food options, especially the legendary West Campus Burger, that make West Campus really stand out. Enjoy!
