Project Title: English Teaching Assistant (ETA)

Theresa applied for a Fulbright scholarship to further her knowledge and understanding of diplomacy through education. A Fulbright ETA award would allow her to explore cultural and educational differences in Taiwan, as compared with other countries and regions of the world where she has lived or studied. If granted this opportunity, she plans to use her time while in Taiwan to improve upon her basic Chinese language skills through active engagement with her students and the broader community. Following her service abroad, Theresa would like to put that experience to use in a future career with the Department of State or U.S. Intelligence Community.
