We ask for a $50 donation to BUCLD to participate in this opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--\n\n\n\n<hr \/>\n\n\n\nBoston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Linguistics with a specialization in child language acquisition, for appointment in the Department of Linguistics, to\nbegin July 1, 2024. The new faculty member will conduct research in the area of child language acquisition; teach courses in acquisition and other areas at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise students at all levels; and help in overseeing the annual BU Conference on Language Development, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bucld\/\">https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bucld\/<\/a>. Successful candidates will also have a strong secondary specialization in one of the core areas of linguistic analysis. Expertise in computational modelling of language acquisition is strongly desirable, though not required. Requirements include a PhD in Linguistics in hand by the start date, a strong background in linguistic theory, and demonstrated excellence in teaching, advising, and research.
