Laurie Westwater Tyer

Laurie Westwater Tyer (SON’83) of Bedford, N.H., completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice through Walden University. Throughout her 40 years in nursing, she has specialized in oncology and nursing education, after graduating cum laude from BU. “I met my husband, Jim Tyer, at BU and married in 1986,” she writes. “I am proud to share that my parents, Vivian and Gordon Westwater, graduated from BU and married after.”
