John DeLappe (Questrom’23) of Miami, Fla., has joined Exowatt, a renewable energy company. “Our mission is to make sustainable renewable
energy always available and almost free,” he writes. “We have raised $23.5 million to date and have a backlog of 75 gigawatt hours from leading
energy developers and data center partners. In that time, our head count has expanded by five times.” John also spends his time mentoring BU
Questrom School of Business MBA students in renewable energy alongside Richard Stuebi, a lecturer in strategy and innovation. “I wanted to share this story to all students looking to build something greater than themselves or a paycheck,” he writes.
