The Legal Follies filled the Law Auditorium
to capacity for three straight nights last month. In the final show on February
25, Joe Guarino (LAW'00) and Stephanie Hodara (LAW'00), from Switzerland,
spoof the "buddy program" for the LL.M. in American law, in which attorneys
from foreign countries attend LAW for a year and take courses toward a graduate
degree. Guarino portrays an American trying a bit too hard to make Hodara,
as a French student, feel at home. Photo

Massachusetts Teacher of the Year David Lussier
(SED'92) was the guest speaker at SED's Junior Pinning Ceremony February
16 at the Tsai Performance Center. Lussier, a teacher at Andover High School,
is one of the youngest teachers to receive the award. "The selection is
particularly noteworthy given the number of outstanding teachers who applied,"
says Massachusetts Education Commissioner David Driscoll. There were more
than 375 applications this year. At the annual pinning ceremony, SED juniors
affirm their commitment to education and accept the responsibilities of
the vocation before they begin student teaching. Photo
