While the autumn leaves were falling down on the Charles River Campus this week, colorful new Boston University banners were going up. The 70 banners are mounted on light poles along Commonwealth Avenue from Kenmore Square to Babcock Street. They were designed by Liz Mikolajek (SFA'99) (left), who is the art director of the 1999 Bostonian yearbook, and Eson Chan (SFA'98) (right). "We designed them to give you a sense of arrival," says Chan. "They tell you that you're on the BU campus."
