Play by Sorbello awarded Honegger Prize
Congratulations to Playwriting alum Donna Sorbello, who is this year’s recipient of the Firehouse Center for the Arts’ Honegger Prize for Best Short for her play Ellen Talks About the Bird. Firehouse’s 23rd Annual New Works Festival of Short Plays—including Donna’s play and a short by fellow alum Deirdre Girard—takes place this weekend!
Sorbello’s ‘Needle Park’ at Theatre Odyssey
Playwright alum Donna Sorbello’s All Sewn Up in Needle Park has its first performance tonight at Theatre Odyssey’s Nineteenth Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival in Sarasota, Florida. The Festival runs through the weekend. Congratulations, Donna!
