Noone’s ‘Thirst’ at Lyric

Performances of Adjunct Assistant Professor (and BU Playwriting alum) Ronán Noone’s Thirst begin this week at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston. Thirst takes place in the Tyrone family kitchen as the events of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night unfold elsewhere in the house. The play, which runs through March 17, had an acclaimed run at the Dorset Theatre Festival in 2022.

And, if you’re in Chicago, check out Ronán’s Elliot Norton Award-winning The Smuggler (produced by BPT in 2019) at Jackalope Theatre Company through March 16.

Congratulations, Ronán!
