Eddy’s ‘Driving in Circles’ wins Rodgers Award
Second-year playwright Jay Eddy’s Driving in Circles is one of two works named as a winner of the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ 2022 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater. Richard Rodgers, who was elected to the Academy in 1955, endowed these awards in 1978 to nurture talented composers and playwrights by enabling their musicals to be produced by nonprofit theaters in New York City.
