Wonderful news from KCACTF

Kennedy Center American College Theater FestivalThe work of two second-year MFA playwrights has been recognized this year by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF):

Jay Eddy’s play Driving in Circles has been awarded the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award, and is a co-recipient of the KCACTF Musical Theatre Award. The piece was also recognized with Distinguished Achievement in the Paula Vogel Award in Playwriting.

J. C. Pankratz is a national finalist in the John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play for their play Seahorse (recognition will be announced at the National Festival in April), and their play Eggtooth was recognized for Distinguished Achievement in the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award.
