Voices of BTM XIX: Samuela Nematchoua
Tell us a little bit about your play.
Two Face is about Mo, a college student, who is being recorded by Jonathan, a journalist, about the events which led her to be innocently arrested and tortured.
What made you want to tell this story?
This story was a way for me to air out emotions I was having during a difficult political climate last summer.
What’s next for you as a playwright?
Nothing currently as a playwright but I am working on my first screenplay.
What are you most looking forward to on Boston Theater Marathon day?
I am excited to see my work performed on stage and to see the work of the other playwrights.
Don’t miss Two Face—and 49 other amazing ten-minute plays—in Boston Theater Marathon XIX on May 14! Tickets
