The Beckman Scholars Program is a mentored research experience for undergraduate students in chemistry, biology, or related fields. Regarding his joining the Executive Committee, Tom said, &#8220;I am delighted to join&#8230;Over the years, I have seen the Beckman Scholars Program serve as a stepping stone to successful research careers for several of our most talented undergraduates with an early interest in research, and I am excited to be a part of that process at the national level. Dr. Beckman&#8217;s dedication to scientific excellence and creativity continues to be an inspiration.
