Her proposal is titled, \u201cElucidating the role of G9a alternative splicing in breast cancer to develop novel targeted therapies.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From Dr. Fiszbein:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cOur goal is to elucidate the roles of G9a alternative splicing in breast cancer, and breast cancer recurrences, and develop novel targeted therapies based on antisense oligonucleotides to inhibit tumor growth with lower toxicity.
