The Biology Department is mourning the loss of Brian Weber, a freshman biology major, who passed away last Friday. Brian was from Singapore and attended Deerfield Academy. Brian was kind, thoughtful, and friendly. His personal interactions with peers, staff and faculty highlighted these virtues and the academics he pursued demonstrated the respect and compassion he held for others. His decision to pursue the premedical track further highlights these qualities. Brian will be remembered in the kind smiles, the thoughtful conversations, and the purposeful learning that we value in our community and that Brian contributed to through his character and work. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 20th at 10 am in Marsh Chapel.
