Volunteering at Steps to Success<\/h2>\n


Steps<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0Success<\/span>\u00a0in Brookline<\/a>\u00a0is a non-profit organization with the goal of providing educational equality for low-income students.\u00a0Steps<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0success<\/span>\u00a0has an\u00a0After Hour University (AHU) program<\/a>\u00a0which has proven\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0not only prevent dropouts, but also increase the likelihood of students attending college. PhD students in the Bioinformatics Program have dedicated sessions every week\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0promote STEM education for\u00a0Steps<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0Success<\/span>\u00a0at Pierce Elementary School and Lincoln School. The volunteers create fun and innovative activities\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0teach scientific concepts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are currently looking for volunteers from every department\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0increase the breadth of\u00a0to<\/span>pics and to support more students.
