Yan is developing and applying various computational approaches to detect the molecular signatures associated with immune response in order to predict vaccine efficacy based on the transcriptional profile.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Yan has given oral presentations of his vaccine efficacy research at the annual meetings of the Human Immunology Project Consortium (HIPC) at the NIAID\/NIH, the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH 2012) in Atlanta, Georgia and the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS 2013) in Boston. He was also selected to give a talk at the International Workshop of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (IBSB 2013) in Kyoto, Japan.<\/p>\n
